Features · 86 on the menu

Everything on the menu. Nothing hidden.

Every feature Pralix has today, served the way a restaurant day runs — from setting up before the doors open to counting the drawer at close. Pick who you are and the menu shrinks to your part.

Before the doors open.

Put your menu, tables, staff and printers in once. Every screen after this reads from it.

Tax is added on top of the menu price.

  • Menu with photos

Sections, dishes, photos, short codes, veg / non-veg / egg / vegan / jain marks, and options like Half / Full or spice level.

  • Menu from a photo

Snap your printed menu or upload the PDF — it is read for you into an editable list, then saved in one go.

  • Price per order type

One price for dine-in, another for takeaway or delivery apps — staff always see the right one.

  • Per-item tax

Each dish carries its own VAT rate, or none — the bill splits tax by rate for you.

  • Tax-inclusive prices

Write menu prices with tax inside them; the guest pays exactly what the menu says.

  • Halal badge

Mark dishes halal and guests see it on the QR menu.

  • Your country, your money

Pick from 29 countries — currency, tax name, cash notes and coins all follow.

  • Tables and QR codes

Add tables by zone in bulk and print every table's QR on A4 stickers, with your guest Wi-Fi on the card.

  • Fresh QR in one tap

Rotate a table's QR and the old printed code stops working.

  • Order types you name

Dine-in, takeaway, phone and delivery — plus your own types (like Talabat and Akeed), each with its own name, colour and KOT tag.

  • Staff logins by role

Manager, cashier, captain / waiter, cook and cleaner — each signs in with a PIN and sees only their own screens.

  • Outlet managers

Give a manager one outlet; they run it without seeing the rest of the business.

  • Print designer

Shape the bill and the KOT — logo, fields, header, footer, font, copies — and see the real print as you change it.

  • Any paper size

58 mm, 80 mm or your own roll width for thermal printers; A4 or A5 for PDF bills.

  • Two-language bills

Print English and Arabic on the same bill, right-to-left done properly.

  • CR number and bank QR on bills

Your CR number under the tax number, and your bank's payment QR printed on every bill.

  • Solo mode

Run it alone? One Quick sale screen — tap dishes, tap Paid — and the waiter and kitchen screens step aside.

  • Opening hours and cancel reasons

Set when you're open (the QR page says when you're closed) and the reasons staff must pick to cancel.

Orders in, food out.

Captains take orders on a phone, the kitchen sees them on a screen or paper, and nobody shouts across the room.

Waiting for orders…

  • Captain app

Waiters take orders at the table on any phone or tablet — menu, options and notes in a few taps.

  • KOT to screen or printer

One tap sends the order to the kitchen screen, the kitchen printer, or both.

  • KOT, KOT & Print, KOT & Bill

Send to the kitchen, print it, or send and bill in one go — you choose the default for each outlet.

  • Saved drafts

Park an order that isn't ready to send; it waits without reaching the kitchen or the bill.

  • Kitchen display (KDS)

Tickets with table, KOT number, items and age — amber after 8 minutes, red after 15.

  • Start → Ready in one tap

Cooks move each ticket along; the captain sees what's ready to serve.

  • Daily token numbers

Every KOT carries a short token for the day, easy to call out at the counter.

  • Pack-or-plate tags

Each ticket shows where the order goes — DINE, T/A, or the delivery app — so the cook knows how to pack it.

  • Kitchen bell

A sound when a new ticket lands, so nobody has to watch the screen.

  • Live floor view

Every table at a glance — free, ordering, eating, waiting for the bill.

  • Waitlist and reservations

Walk-ins in arrival order, bookings by time; seat them on a free table in one tap.

  • Waiter calls

When a guest taps “Call staff”, the table number pops up on staff screens.

  • KOT reprint

Reprint a ticket without creating a new order or taking stock off twice.

  • Regulars found as you type

Start typing a name or phone and returning guests come up first.

  • Read-only menu for staff

Cooks and captains can check any dish without being able to change it.

  • QR menu ordering

Guests scan the table QR, browse the menu with photos and send their order — straight to the kitchen.

  • Live order tracker

Each order shows Received → Cooking → Ready → Served on the guest's phone.

  • Call staff

A bell on the QR page: Waiter or Water. Tapping again doesn't spam the staff.

  • Running bill on the phone

Every order from the table so far and the total — then “Request the bill” alerts the staff.

  • Order-from-inside only

Optional geofence: the QR only takes orders from people actually at the outlet.

  • Order board for the TV

Token numbers in “Preparing” and “Ready to collect”, with a chime when one is ready.

  • Customer display

A second screen facing the guest: the order growing line by line, the amount with a QR to pay, then “Thank you”.

  • Bill link

Every bill has its own private link the guest can open, keep and pay from.

  • Bill by email

Send the bill to the guest's email as a PDF, straight from the counter.

  • Cashier screen

Every open table and order in one list; open one, bill it, take payment.

  • Quick sale

Counter sale in one flow: tap dishes, bill, paid. It remembers how the last guest paid.

  • Split the bill

Equally between guests, by items, or any amount you type.

  • Every way to pay

Cash, card, bank or other — with keyboard shortcuts to pick one in a key press.

  • Discount and service charge

Add them only when you want; they stay out of the way otherwise.

  • Keep it as due

Guest pays later? Note who owes it, free the table, collect the rest another day.

  • Dues book

Who owes what, oldest first, how long it's been waiting — a payment clears the oldest bill first.

  • Cash drawer by notes

Count the float note by note in the morning; every cash sale and change is tracked through the day.

  • Your cash rules

Just take the money, count the drawer, or make the count required before any cash sale — per outlet.

  • Money box opens itself

The cash drawer pops open on a cash sale, through the receipt printer.

  • Voids with a reason

A voided bill stays in history with its reason and drops out of sales and profit — nothing just disappears.

  • Shift handover and Z-report

Payouts and safe drops logged, the drawer handed to the next shift, a Z-report on close.

  • “No sale” opens logged

Opening the drawer without a sale asks for a reason, and every open is recorded.

17:30Course 05

Behind the pass.

Write a recipe once. Every KOT takes its ingredients off by itself, so stock is never a guess.

  • Ingredients

Everything you buy, in its own unit — kg, litre, piece — with what it costs.

  • Recipes on dishes

Say what goes into each dish; selling it takes those amounts off stock.

  • Preparations

Gravies, batters, sauces made in-house become ingredients of their own, used across dishes.

  • Low-stock alerts

A bell and a pop-up the moment a KOT pushes something low or out.

  • Wastage log

Spoiled, burnt, dropped — logged with a reason and counted as a loss in profit.

  • Suppliers and purchases

Purchase orders by supplier, what's still coming, what you owe — receiving adds to stock.

  • Usage insights

What the kitchen actually used in a period and how many days each ingredient will last.

When the internet drops.

The counter keeps billing and printing. Everything syncs the moment the line is back.

Pull the internet, keep billing, bring it back — nothing is lost.

  • Offline billing

    No internet

Bills are saved on the device first, KOTs and receipts still print, and everything uploads later.

  • Desktop app for Windows and Mac

The whole app in its own window on the counter computer — prints instantly, works offline.

  • Main computer as the server

    No internet

Tablets, phones and other PCs join the main computer over the shop Wi-Fi — even with no internet.

  • Direct printing, no dialog

Talks straight to the printer: Wi-Fi / LAN, Bluetooth, or USB / COM port. No driver, no print box.

  • Separate kitchen and counter printers

Receipts to the counter printer, KOTs to the kitchen printer — chosen per device.

  • Locked data vault

On Windows your data sits in an encrypted drive, locked when the app closes; on Mac, FileVault does the same.

  • Automatic backups

Every 12 hours, on the computer and on a pen drive or second disk — and to the cloud when online.

  • Goes offline by itself

Starts without internet? The app switches to offline billing on its own — or flip it by hand.

  • Phones sign in by QR

Staff scan a QR on the main computer to join it, then sign in with their PIN.

  • Printer report

If a print fails, a step-by-step log goes to support in one tap.

  • Reports with CSV

Delivery apps, payments by method, VAT by rate, cancelled orders and voids — with date chips and CSV for your accountant.

  • What delivery apps leave you

See what Talabat orders really bring in after their cut.

  • Profit by outlet

Revenue minus food cost, wastage, salaries, expenses and equipment — drawn step by step down to net profit.

  • All bills and orders

Search any bill or order, open it, reprint it.

  • Activity log

Everything that happened, newest first, updating live — search by bill, guest or dish.

  • Customers

Every guest's visits and spend, with tiers from new to regular to patron, sized to your own average.

  • Employees and salaries

Staff records, how long they've been with you, and the monthly salary cost per outlet.

  • Expenses

Rent, gas, repairs — by category, so they land in profit where they belong.

  • Equipment

Ovens, fridges, furniture — their cost spread over their useful life, month by month into profit.

  • Many outlets, one login

Add outlets as you grow; see each one alone or all together, with their own tax and settings.

  • Help from inside the app

Tell the Pralix team what went wrong, from the screen it happened on.
